A Few Notes:
- Please read carefully the current month's letter for installation instructions. Most questions can be answered there.
- This page, in addition, can assist you to manage the Touchscreen resources included on installation discs.
- The following instructions are meant as a general reference. They should be able to guide you through to a successful installation. If you are unfamiliar with Windows XP or Windows 2000, then this guide may not help you enough.
- If you need help beyond this page, we recommend you contact a computer professional locally who will be able to assist you.
- If this is your first installation, please make sure you have installed IIS successfully before installing the Touchscreen.
- Sometimes the Touchscreen will not install correctly on the first try on a new machine. Repeat until it installs successfully where you will see the two icons for the Touchscreen on the desktop.
Installing the World Missions Touchscreen
- To install the World Missions Touchscreen, first insert the CD or DVD labeled "World Missions Touchscreen Version x.x.x" into your computer.
- Look for the icon labeled "My Computer" on your desktop.
Double click that icon.
 In Windows XP Professional, My Computer may be found in the Start Menu.
- Look for the icon labeled "WM_Touchscreen" inside the window that opens up. Double click that icon.

- Open the folder labeled "Install Touchscreen" Double click the icon named "Setup" or "Setup.exe".
- You will come to a window whose title says "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for World Missions Touchscreen." Click the button labeled "Next."
Please wait for the Touchscreen installer to get under way. It starts slowly .

- At the screen labeled "License Agreement" click the radio button that says "I accept the terms of this license agreement." Then click Next.

- At the window that says "Ready to Install the Program" click the "Install" button.

- In the Installed Successfully dialog that comes up, click "Finish".

Installing the World Missions Touchscreen Videos
If this is your first installation, or you are reinstalling after a major change to your equipment, you will receive one or two DVDs from us and perhaps a single CD.
If you are installing any videos from a CD, follow the directions below.
If however you received the DVD edition of the installer, go here.
- First insert the Disc labeled "World Missions Touchscreen Video"
- Look for the icon labeled "My Computer" on your desktop or in the "Start" menu for Windows XP. Double click that icon.

- Open the folder marked "Install Videos" on any CD included with the Touchscreen installation.
- Double click the first video installer, whatever the name.
- Click the button labeled "Unzip."
- Wait until it is finished, then click "Close."
Remove the disc, and insert each subsequent CD until you are finished.
- In the same way install any subsequent video intstallers

- Put the DVD marked "World Missions Touchscreen" into the drive.
- Open "My Computer".
- Find "WM_Touchscreen" and double click it.
- Open the folder marked "Install Touchscreen".
- Double click the item named "Setup" or "Setup.exe".
- Follow the instructions for installing the touchscreen above.
Installing the Videos
- Open the folder on the DVD marked "Install Videos".
- Double click the item named "Setup" or Setup.exe"
- The instructions will be similar to installing the touchscreen.
NOTE: The Video installation and Touchscreen installation are not dependent on each other and so you may install either one first.
