27. Version 9.06.06 June '06. This includes the standard upgrades to movies, news and database. On the Program disc is the latest edition of the world reports. In addition there is a separate disc for videos, Video 8 for June '06. These videos are essential installations for all Touchscreens.
28. Version 9.06.05 May '06. This included the standard upgrades to movies, news, and database. This version can update version 8.7.12 to 9.06.04 without uninstalling them. Previous versions need to be uninstalled before upgrading to 9.06.04. There are currently 162 active movies in the Touchscreen installation. You may have more than 162 movies in your installation.
29. Version 9.06.04 April '06. This included the standard upgrades to movies, news, and database. This version can update version 8.7.12 to 9.06.03 without uninstalling them. Previous versions need to be uninstalled before upgrading to 9.06.04. There are currently 158 active movies in the Touchscreen installation. You may have more than 158 movies in your installation. We have added new missionaries this month.
30. Version 9.06.03 March '06. This included the standard upgrades to movies, news, and database. This version can update version 8.7.12 or 9.06.02 without uninstalling them. Previous versions need to be uninstalled before upgrading to 9.06.03. There are currently 155 active movies in the Touchscreen installation. You may have more than 1553 movies in your installation.
31. Version 9.06.02 February '06. This included the standard upgrades to movies, news, and database. This version can update version 8.7.12 or 9.06.01 without uninstalling them. Previous versions need to be uninstalled before upgrading to 9.06.02. There are currently 153 active movies in the Touchscreen installation. You may have more than 153 movies in your installation. That is fine. Some unused videos have not been deleted.
32. Version 9.06.01 January '06 This version serializes the version to the date, in this case 06.01 for January 2006. This included the standard upgrades to movies, news, and database. This version can update version 8.7.12 without uninstalling 8.7.12. Previous versions need to be uninstalled before upgrading to 9.06.01. There are currently 150 active movies in the Touchscreen installation. You may have more than 150 movies in your installation. That is fine. Some videos have not been deleted.
33. Version 8.7.12 December '05 This included the standard upgrades to movies, news, and database. As well there are some small program fixes that change nothing with the behavior of the Touchscreen. All previous versions of the Touchscreen need to be uninstalled before this version is installed. There are currently 146 movies in the Touchscreen installation.
34. Version 8.7.11 November '05 This included the standard upgrades to movies, news, and database.
35. Version 8.7.10 October '05 this release was delayed in order to include new missionaries. As well this is the upgrade version for people who did not have a DVD player installed. The videos arrived on request by 6 CDs. This included the standard upgrades to movies, news, and database.
36. Version 8.7.9 September '05 Released the total DVD update which required a complete uninstall of all the previous versions. This included the standard upgrades to movies, news, and database.
37. Version 8.7.8 August '05 Updated monthly news, movies and database. Video Disk 7 was released this month. This includes the year 2005 Reports from Regional Directors.
38. Version 8.7.7 July '05 Updated monthly news, movies and database. We added a feature that allows the user to search for missionaries. The search button appears on most major pages and takes you to an alphabet. Touch the letter of the last name of the missionary and you are taken to a page of missionaries that start with that letter.
39. Version 8.7.6 June '05 Updated monthly news, movies and database.
40. Version 8.7.5 May '05 Updated monthly news, movies and database. We added a Spanish Videos module. Included are all the Newsbreak videos translated into Spanish and often titled in Spanish.

43. Version 8.7.2: Updated monthly news, movies and database. Again there is no need to uninstall the previous version of the Touchscreen before installing this one. As well this version will install on any machine that has not had the touchscreen on it before. If installing the videos this month fails on the South Africa.mpg file, go to the folder where the videos are stored (c:\inetpub\wwwroot\agfm\video) and delete manually the South Africa.mpg movie file, then install the videos from the CD.
44. Version 8.7.1: Updated monthly news, movies and database. This is the first month that all the user needs to do is install the touchscreen. There is no need to uninstall the previous one first.
45. Version 8.7: Updated monthly news, movies and database. Attempted but failed to implement an auto updating feature.
46. Version 8.6: Updated monthly news, movies and database. We released Video 5. Trouble with Video 5 installation halting on India.mpg, Kenya.mpg and Sudan.mpg. The fix. Changed the way videos were being distributed to streamline long-term processes. The Video 5 problem did not happen to everyone.
47. Version 8.5.3: Updated monthly news, movies and database.

49. Version 8.5: Updated monthly news, movies and database. In addition, we have implemented an email feature into the Touchscreen that will allow anyone to send a short letter to any of the supported missionaries. The Touchscreen Update page is better equipped to make any of the changes you might want to to make the Touchscreen work better. Version 8.5 is also the foundation of further updates that will allow you to merely patch the existing installation, not requiring you to uninstall the previous configuration.
50. Version 8: Updated monthly news, movies and database. In addition, we have set the course for those who have constant internet connections to their Touchscreen computers, to update their software automatically. There will be further news in the next few releases. Some of you may have noticed the popup reminder to search for updates. Just agree to the dialog. This will open up "Update Manager" click on the "Change Update Settings" button click the radio button at the bottom left of the page. This will turn off the automatic update feature for the moment until it is fully implemented.
51. Versions 7.2.4: Updated monthly news, movies and database. In addition you need to install Video 4 disk that contains additional movies.
52. Versions 7.2.3: Updated monthly news, movies and database.

54. Versions 7.2.1: Updated monthly news, movies and database. Fixed the error in printing. Also inccluded with this update is the Final editioin of Video 3 called Video 3b. Uninstall video 3 and install Video 3b. Internet Explorer 6 and Windows Media Player 9 installers are also on the Version 7.2.1 Disk. These are necessary updates.
55. Version 7.2 Updated monthly news, movies and database. Dramatically restructured the way prayer requests and news articles are read and printed. There is an index of articles in both the prayer and news pages and the stories appear when the user touches the title link. Modified the Touchscreen Support page to make it possible to turn printing on and off as well as accessing the missionary databases for modification. At this moment, because of programming complexities, the printing function has been turned off. The next release should have it available to turn back on.
56. Version 7.1.3: Updated monthly news, movies and database.
57. Version 7.1.2: Updated monthly news, movies and database. Added an additional movie "How to be a Missionary Associate" in the Resources page.

59. Version 7.1: Updated monthly news, movies and database. The way videos are viewed has been changed. There are no more black screens with videos. All movies play in the windows of their origin. With the new video features, we have added additional videos and have released a new CD, Video 3a that also must be installed to replace the Video 3 CD.
